Panasonic Lumix GH2 with Voigtlaender Nokton 25mm/0.95 - the lowlight monster!

Finally - there it is!
There was already written so much about the Panasonic Lumix GH2 with it's new 16 MPixel sensor, so now it's time for some sample pictures. Let's start with available light pictures shot from free-hand:

Sorry, no Java support available, please install here.

Together with the Voigtlaender Nokton 25mm/f0.95 you hold a dream combination in your hands, that regarding resolution, speed/brightness and depth of field can keep up with these big and heavy full frame DSLRs. Tripod and flash now can be left home in most situations. The GH2 is also 3D-ready - this more soon!

A great relief to me was the new way how the focus magnifier can be activated, which you will find quite helpful when using manual lenses like the Nokton. You simply touch the area of the display that you would like to get magnified and instantly see it increased by 5x. A little turn on the wheel switches to 10x magnification and when you slightly press the shutter-release button you see the full picture again. This is so much easier and faster to operate compared to the classic button controls!
